Is it possible that God has an adventure for you in another country?
Imagine living your whole life never hearing that Jesus loves you. EFM is going to places where that is a reality. Often, these corners of the world are wracked with poverty, broken relationships, lack of education, social concerns, and spiritual darkness. Along with career missionaries, EFM is looking for people who can respond to these needs, even on a 1-2 year basis.
In fact, EFM invites you to redefine your understanding of what it means to be a “missionary.” Simply said, a missionary is a person willing to engage in cross-cultural ministry, using their unique life and vocational experiences, skills, and interests to live out and usher in the Kingdom of God. In today’s complex world, ministry requires people with diverse abilities – education, business, agriculture, hospitality, social work, medicine, IT and more. The key is a willingness to build genuine relationships. These connections – whether families, men, women, children, or youth – create fertile ground where disciple-making flourishes.
So far, EFM has committed to sending 14 households to open seven new mission fields:

Begin the conversation today to discover how your unique life experiences and vocational skills can meet these important needs.
EFM will equip you for cross-cultural service, training you in the latest methods for immersing yourself in a new culture, learning a language and developing the depth of friendships that flow into disciple-making relationships. Once trained, EFM also provides the infrastructure to support you, including prayer networks, training in fundraising, a ministry coach, and a personal care team.
