Donations to EFM Strategic Foundations, formerly known as General Ministries, support the work of EFM in three ways: 1) emerging missionary and leadership development, 2) missionary care and support, and 3) unifying the body of Evangelical Friends Church North America (EFC-NA) around the Great Commission. EFM currently has 18 full-time missionaries on the field. You can visit here to select which missionary household you would like to support! 

EFM’s Five- Five-year Goal is to send at least 10 missionary households to launch 5 new mission fields in the next 5 years! Funds donated to the Five-Year Goal help fuel EFM’s Luke 10 Initiative, particularly in partnering with Friends in Africa, Asia, and Latin America to visit unreached peoples under the Holy Spirit’s guidance. There are different projects in the Five-Year Goal and you can choose to support including projects for Future Missionaries and Mentors and Luke 10 Trips.

The Monthly Mobilizers program invites you to support EFM consistently through the Strategic Foundations Fund. This fund ensures our missionaries receive the spiritual, emotional, and relational support they need to thrive, with 100% of the funds they raise going directly to their ministry. By becoming a Monthly Mobilizer, you’ll empower our missionaries, strengthen local church partners, and fuel hope to communities across the globe.

EFM currently has one household that is a missionary candidate! These households have been approved by the EFM Board to become missionaries and are currently raising funds to get to the field. 

EFM currently has two future missionaries who are participating in short-term training opportunities to get for the field! The two training opportunities currently offering are a Disciple-Making Apprenticeship and Whole Life Discipleship Training. You can visit this page to support one of these apprentices! 

As a part of the Five-Year Goal, you can help persons in the U.S. meet costs for going on Luke 10 Exploration trips or 10:2 Prayer Trips when their fundraising is behind. Missionaries on the field occasionally have special, out-of-budget, projects that come up on the field! These projects are all listed on this page and are a great way to help support EFM missionaries! 

Business as Mission (BAM) is a foundation for evangelism and discipleship, to establish new churches in communities around the world. BAM equips national missionaries to create an economic engine to provide income to meet the missionary’s physical needs, as well as establish an organic space in the community where relationships can take place and openings to share the Gospel will naturally form.
