As far as Mexico is concerned, the need is church planting (and we are not referring to building construction) and discipleship making. From experience and knowing the testimonies of other pastors and ministries, in Mexico working with children and young people is very essential in starting a new church. From our experience in exploration trips and experience in the field, we know that parents are seeking for their children to have a spiritual orientation directed towards the truth and a relationship with Christ. Next, there is working with marriages, most of which need restoration and knowledge of God’s standards. Obviously, all of these are consequences of the idolatry, religion, traditions, and ignorance about the Scriptures that most people have in a country where for centuries they have been tied to traditional religion and, on top of that, in the past false cults and religious groups have arisen that have destroyed the reputation of Christians in Mexico.
Teaching the Truth and making disciples of Jesus will result in new healthy churches being raised.
