Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ! I’m writing to share some big news: I’ve been accepted as an apprentice to take part in an immersive discipleship training opportunity through Evangelical Friends Mission (EFM) in partnership with the North County Project (NCP) in Orange County, California.
Starting in January 2026, I’ll begin a 10-month apprenticeship created to equip young leaders like me to grow in sustainable, Spirit-led mission. My team will be walking with Jesus in local communities, learning how to begin conversations that could change someone’s life, and being trained in spiritual rhythms like prayer walking, contemplative practices, campus evangelism, and disciple-making that makes disciples who makes disciples!
Leaving Denver, especially my beautifully diverse and multicultural community, will be a deep loss. But I’m saying “yes” to this next step with trust and excitement—believing that Jesus meets us in surrender, and that He is still calling us to love people deeply and across boundaries.
To make this opportunity possible, I’m gathering a support team—people who will stand with me in both prayer and financial partnership, not just now, but for the future adventures and plans that God has for me this side of heaven! May He be glorified!
If you’d like to receive updates, prayer requests, or hear more about how this ministry is unfolding, I’d love to stay connected. Please sign up to be a prayer supporter and receive my updates.
Thank you for being part of my story—whether you’ve known me for years or we’ve only recently connected. Your encouragement and presence in my life matter more than I can say.
With gratitude and hope,
Cassandra Coleman
A few practical ways you could support me in prayer:
- Orar for courage, clarity, and that my roots can grow even deeper with the Father and for my future as an overseas missionary.
- Orar for my sister as she makes big decisions and continues rebuilding her stability. She has been sharing life with me in Denver for the last year, and this will be a major transition for both of us. Pray for her salvation.
- Help with housing or care for my three sweet cats—Bartleby, Bellatrix, and Burr—They are loving, indoor-outdoor companions. Though it’s heartbreaking, I know that answering this call to missions means making some hard sacrifices, even ones that involve furry friends. They are currently still up for adoption!
- Orar for a recent development of a relationship with Thomas Moore from Southwest Yearly Meeting. We’re walking in faith with Jesus, exploring a future together in life and ministry as cross-cultural missionaries, and praying about marriage and applying with EFM as a married couple.
There are four ways to partner with me financially through October 2026:
