Final Sarkar Deputation Update

D.K. and Choity have finished their deputation in the U.S. and are now back home in India. They recently sent us their thoughts about the experiences they had on deputation, and we are passing them along to you. Thank you for your part in helping to make their time among us a fruitful one. As you will see below, it was a team effort!

The visits during deputation were so good! The hosts were so good and caring that we don’t have any language to express our gratitude. Not only that, the churches and the members of the churches welcomed us so nicely that we were moved. They always were asking us how they could help us, what are our needs, are there any problems, etc. Some of them took us for sightseeing and we could see the very good sights of America. Thanks to all of them.

Friends, as a result of our deputation and your continuous support, we have gone from 62% to 88% of our recurring monthly need. A big thank you to all of you who are supporting us. We do believe that your contribution will not be in vain. God bless you all.

As we step back into ministry in India, please continue to pray:

  • The vision for the mission we have received in the USA, we can continue that vision in India. Our country is an unreached country. Lots of religious conflict is there. The Hindu extremists are arrogant and trying to stop the Christianity in India. In a few states they are persecuting the Christians. They are burning the church buildings, arresting the evangelists and pastors and have stopped the outside funding for Christian missions.
  • That the Christians would not be discouraged. God is in control. This persecution will bring many non-Christians to faith in Jesus, and it has started already.
  • For me and the EFM staff. They are committed to preaching the gospel in unreached areas. Pray for their faithfulness, security, financial support, and their ministry.
  • For me and my family, so that we can continue the ministry faithfully. Also pray for our health.

  • Online. Visit https://catalog.friendsmission.com/sarkar. You’ll be given the opportunity to indicate whether you are making a recurring or one-time gift.
  • Credit Card. This may be given online (as stated above) or by calling the EFM office (303-421-8100) to give your information to a live person.
  • Automatic Bank Transfer. Download the form here and email it to Debby McElroy (EFM Bookkeeper) at debby@friendsmission.com. Please note that ACH payments are processed on the 10th or 25th of the month.
  • Check. Mail a check to EFM, P.O. Box 771139, Wichita, KS 67277. Make sure to mark your check “Sarkar Support” and note if you will be giving on a recurring basis (monthly, quarterly, etc.). Pay to the order of “EFM.”
