EFM’s relationship with The Way Foundation in Thailand is valuable in continuing the Great Commission work in Southeast Asia. The Way Foundation’s vision is to help establish a growing ministry that will continue to share the gospel, make disciples, plant churches and be connected to churches around the world, including those in America, for many generations to come.
We are excited to share this report from one of The Way Foundations Projects! This report was shared by Solomon, Director of the Church Expansion Project.
Holistic Community Development Project Report |
This is the story of Sombat and his wife, who are both Red Lahu. This couple has completed training in the Pastors and Evangelists Training (PET) course established by The Way Foundation. After completing this course, they both have a passion for evangelism and went back to their village to start planting the church at Mae Tang Village. This family shared the Gospel in their community and led many to believe in Jesus Christ. Now in this village, there are more people interested in knowing God. They also took the lead in building the church building for the people of the village to have a place for worship together. Before they had this building, they used their house to be the place for worship and studying the bible but as more and more people came, they needed a larger space.
Sombat and his wife were not just leading people in this community to know God but also introducing and teaching villagers in the community about agricultural careers such as growing vegetables
Thanks for your prayer and your support.
From,
Charlee Kunakorn
Executive Director, The Way Foundation
