Christmas is a season of new things.
Wrapped in almost every gift is something new.
This is not an accident, but a reflection of new life!
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation;old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. 2 Corinthians 5:17 |
As we step into this next year, we are grateful for the many new things. We open our first new field with a new missionary family. We welcome new workers into our apprentice program. We embrace a renewed vision for sending our own friends and even family, because there are countless women and men, boys and girls around the world who are desperate to know the new life that comes through Jesus Christ.
We are grateful for these new things. We are thankful for the many (new) people who help make this mission a reality. As a token of gratitude, we offer a set of Christmas devotionals written by our missionaries and staff. We pray that they would bring new inspiration to your Christmas celebration. You can read and download the devotional by clicking the Download Devotional button above.
We believe that the coming year will bring new and great things. There are more missionaries to send, more fields to open, more people to love, more glory to give to the One who makes all things new.
Would you think about your role in this work? Would you pray that the Lord would raise new missionaries? Would you contemplate going as a worker to one of these new fields? Would you consider a new contribution through financial partnership? (The end of the year is a great time to give to this work!)
But most of all, join the host of voices around the world who loudly proclaim, “Jesus has made all things new!”
Merry Christmas!
