“Jesus’ Relentless Love” for the world takes center stage during Holy Week. During this week, we often become more deeply aware of Christ’s love, expressed in his sufferings. In the week between Palm Sunday and Easter, the power of “he gave” is highlighted as we read these famous words, “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” His relentless love was clear.
As we step into 2025, EFM is looking forward to God calling new households to share this love around the world. By New Year’s Eve 2025, we hope to send 10 new missionary households to these new fields. They are: Central Mexico, the Shuar people of Ecuador, Northeast Brazil, South Sudan, Muslim refugees in Greece, and immigrant workers in the Gulf States of the Middle East. Just a reminder, we have added a seventh field – the Balkans to our list. (God, in his love, continues to open doors around the world where we can share this love!)
So, we know where the Lord is sending us. Now we are praying to the Lord to send the workers!
As a cooperative outgrowth of the 350 Evangelical Friends Churches in North America, you can see that Lord has not only worked in EFM’s past but is calling us into unprecedented ministry in our near future!
We are grateful for your support. Please enjoy our devotional booklet (above) as a reflection of our gratitude. We would also invite you to prayerfully ask the Lord how you might continue to walk with him into making sure that every woman, man, boy, and girl experiences God’s relentless love.
Here are three possibilities.
First, consider using the resource “Jesus’ Relentless Love!” This resource is intended as a guide to help God’s people to take a deep dive into the beauty of Holy Week. Receive it as an expression of gratitude for your support.
Second, please pray for the Lord to send out the workers for these seven fields!
Also, would you prayerfully consider making a personal Easter Offering to propel the Luke 10 Initiative forward? Your gifts will help us fuel the movement that was the essence of Jesus’ relentless love – that all would experience the transforming power of the Resurrection.
Because of Christ,
Stan Leach
Executive Director of EFM
