EFM’s relationship with The Way Foundation in Thailand is valuable in continuing the Great Commission work in Southeast Asia. The Way Foundation’s vision is to help establish a growing ministry that will continue to share the gospel, make disciples, plant churches, and be connected to churches around the world, including those in America, for many generations to come. We are excited to share this report from Yaw Sa Pa who is the Director of the Holistic Community Development Project.| EDU Project: Pastors and Evangelists Training (PET) Graduation |
On June 16, 2024, we held a graduation ceremony for students who participated in the PET (Pastors and Evangelists Training) program. There were 68 graduates. This group studied for two years from 2022-2024. These graduates came from different areas which included 16 villages, so we divided the training into three groups and three places. We also had two people from Burma who came to study with us and graduated at this time.
On the graduation ceremony day, we had the opportunity to listen to the life testimonies of the students who graduated this time. This showed us that these students were greatly transformed by God. Below is a brief summary of the testimonies that we have gathered, focusing on the question, “How has God worked in their lives?” when they came to study the Bible in the PET program.
- After participating in the PET program, they understand and know how to read the
- After participating in the PET program, they got to know God better, which helped them trust him more.
- After participating in the PET program, they understood the gospel
- After participating in the PET program, some of them became passionate about God’s mission and wanted to participate in ministry.
- After participating in the PET program, everyone began to see how God had changed each person’s life through the word.
Thank you to God for the opportunity he gave us to teach the Bible to this group of students.
Thank you to all the supporters who have come to participate in this mission. Whether it is those who have prayed for us or those who have given financial support to this mission, we continue to need the support of all our brothers and sisters in Christ who will continue to share in this mission.
What we will do from now on are:
- We will visit and follow those who graduated and encourage
- We plan to continue to organize training sessions with new groups of interested
