Erik Nilsen Apprenticeship Update: April 2024

As we enter Holy Week (at the time of writing), I find myself reflecting on the significance of Jesus’ Resurrection amidst a brief break in our ministry apprenticeship. Utilizing this time for rest and contemplation, I’ve also discovered joy in exploring Orange County via public transportation, encountering diverse individuals along the way.

During a recent bus trip to San Clemente, I had a chance encounter with Nathaniel, a young Marine in training. Our conversation delved into matters of faith, as he expressed a newfound curiosity about the gospel. Through our dialogue, he began to grasp the transformative power of Jesus’ resurrection and expressed a desire to learn more about living a life aligned with Christ’s teachings.

Over the course of three hours, we journeyed together, discussing various topics and exchanging contact information before parting ways. Since then, we’ve remained in touch, and I’ve had the privilege of continuing to guide him in his spiritual journey.

As Nathaniel prepares to return to training, I ask for your prayers for his safety and continued growth in faith. Additionally, I humbly request prayers for God’s provision in my own life, for my funding to reach 100%, and to rely on his faithfulness to meet my needs.

For those interested in supporting me financially, further details are provided below. Your investment in this apprenticeship enables me to participate in God’s work and make a meaningful impact in the lives of others.

Dutifully yours,

Erik

You can support me through prayer and financial giving. I need and appreciate both so that I can reach 100% in both areas as soon as possible so I can continue in my apprenticeship.

I currently have 217 prayer partners with a goal of 250. If you know anyone who would like to pray for my apprenticeship, please forward this form to them.

I am currently 62% fundraised and looking for financial supporters to support me through October 2024. Would you please prayerfully consider supporting me?

There are four ways to partner with me:
