\"\"The EFM staff<\/a> <\/span>resides in different parts of the US, California, Florida, Oregon, Kansas, Colorado, and Texas! EFM works through a virtual office and meets together in person a few times a year.<\/h3>\n

There are two missionary households currently based in the United States. They make frequent trips abroad. David Thomas, who formerly was on the field in Rwanda, is from NWYM and lives in Oregon. He serves as a Whole- Life Discipleship Mentor. Edwin and Maria Giron, formerly on the field in Mexico, are from FSW and live in Nevada. They serve as the Missions Mobilizers for Hispanic Friends.<\/h3>\n

EFM currently has one missionary candidate household- the Liddell family\u2014Fred, Jonelle, and their children Alexander (Alex) and Jael! They are from Northwest Yearly Meeting and Fred and Jonelle have been invaluable members of our EFM family, embodying dedication and fervor in their service to the Lord.\u00a0Both Fred and Jonelle have felt a strong calling to serve overseas. They have diligently prepared themselves spiritually, emotionally, and practically for this endeavor. Jonelle has expressed a particular interest in serving in the Balkans region, including countries such as Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, and Serbia. While they have also indicated a preference to serve in Greece, they remain open to going wherever the EFM Board discerns is the best fit.<\/h3>\n

EFM\u00a0 is partnering with future missionaries to prepare for potential missionary service opportunities! One of these is called “EFM Disciple-Making Apprenticeship”. EFM is partnering with North County Project in Southern California to provide this disciple-making apprenticeship for further training, experience, and discernment for missionary service. For the 2025 training year, Ivan Penrose will be serving. Another available opportunity is Whole-Life Discipleship Training. In this, EFM is partnering with the Navigators’ Discipleship for Development Training Academy<\/em>, which provides the training course. Future Missionaries will receive training and coaching to apply what is learned to current and future ministry as they continue discernment for future missionary service.<\/h3>\n
