]]> Please pray for Pastor Raul, one of our EFC pastors in Haiti (pictured on the left). His village was recently overrun by a violent gang. As a result, Pastor Raul and his family were forced to flee their home. Since the assassination of the Haitian president in July 2021, the nation has increasingly descended into political and social unrest. As of now, there are no elected officials in the existing government. Kidnappings, rape, and violent crimes continue to rise dramatically in the midst of the power vacuum.

EFM missionaries, William and Marie Bertrand, are currently in Florida, unable to return to Haiti at this time because gangs control the roads between the airport and their home.

Please pray:

  • For Pastor Raul and his family to be allowed to safely return to their home
  • For the way to open for William and Marie Bertrand to return to Haiti soon
  • For democratic elections leading to a stable government
  • For our churches to be sources of light, hope, and peace amidst the unrest
