A lot of travel, a lot of logistics to juggle, a lot of delightful, encouraging, refreshing time with the Body of Christ!<\/p>\n<p>Upcoming: at the end of this month, we\u2019ll be in Colorado for Rocky Mountain Yearly Meeting\u2019s annual sessions, a future missionary retreat, the EFM board meetings, and to share at a church.\u00a0Then we\u2019re moving out of our house, putting it on the market, selling our cars, and hitting the road in the EFM van.\u00a0In early July, we\u2019ll be in Idaho, then we&#8217;ll drive east and visit some churches on the East Coast. September is COMPASS missionary training in Colorado, for the whole family. Lots to pray for!<\/p>\n<p>One quick answer to a question we\u2019ve been getting recently: EFM doesn\u2019t take a percentage of missionaries\u2019 support for administration costs.\u00a0Administration and office expenses, etc., come from separate giving.\u00a0 So, when you give to us or other EFM missionaries, your gift goes directly to our\/their expenses.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Kids<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The kids had a rough spell in March when one of our cats escaped and didn\u2019t return.\u00a0We got a preview of how they might respond to upcoming goodbyes, and while it was hard for all of us, it helped us start practicing some tools that we hope will help in the coming months.\u00a0They have loved meeting so many friends (or \u201cpwends\u201d to Jael), seeing cousins a bit, and finding playgrounds.\u00a0Jael has been singing the ABC song, mostly repeating this section, \u201cQ, R, S, T, U, W.\u201d Alex reads books to her, and it is adorable. They love to help with things like loading and unloading the dishwasher, making breakfast, and vacuuming.\u00a0Last time I told you about Alex thanking us for helping \u201cmy sister,\u201d now Jael does it when we help her, \u201cthank you for helping a sister!\u201d<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-size: 13px; line-height: 15px; word-break: break-word;\"><span style=\"font-size: 13px; line-height: 15px;\"><span style=\"color: #000000; line-height: 14px;\">We currently have 278 prayer partners and have a goal of raising it to 500.
