This retreat provides a unique opportunity for those exploring missions to receive training, mentorship, encouragement, and discernment alongside others pursuing God&#8217;s call.<\/p>\n<p>Registration will open in early 2027.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/friendsmission.servicereef.com\/events\/evangelical-friends-mission\/future-missionary-internship\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Future Missionary Field Internship<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>A Field Experience is a 2\u201312 month missions internship designed to provide training, experience, and discernment for those seriously exploring missionary service. Experiences are typically customized for each participant and may be completed individually, as a family, or in small teams. EFM equips participants to raise the support needed to cover the costs of their assignment and, in some cases, may provide a salary during the experience.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/friendsmission.servicereef.com\/events\/evangelical-friends-mission\/future-missionary-missiology-training\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Future Missionary Missiology Training<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>EFM encourages everyone in our churches to take the Perspectives on the World Christian Movement course so they can become more familiar with God&#8217;s overall mission for His church. EFM requires anyone interested in becoming a career missionary to take this course.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/friendsmission.com\/en\/luke-10-trips\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Luke 10 Trips<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>EFM is currently offering various types of Luke 10 Trips to our approved and potential new mission fields! The approved new mission fields are Mexico, Ecuador, Northeast Brazil, Greece, the Gulf States, and South Sudan. The fields still under exploration are Tanzania, The Balkans, and Cambodia.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/friendsmission.servicereef.com\/events\/evangelical-friends-mission\/efm-disciple-making-apprenticeship-with-north-county-project-copy\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Disciple-Making Apprentice<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>EFM is excited to announce that we have launched a Disciple-Making Apprenticeship opportunity for future missionaries! This apprenticeship is in partnership with North County Project (NCP) in Southern California and will provide opportunities for further training, experience, and discernment for missionary service.\u00a0NCP Apprentices focus on sharing their faith and making disciples on college campuses or other strategic locations together with an experienced mentor.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/friendsmission.servicereef.com\/events\/evangelical-friends-mission\/whole-life-discipleship-training-2\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Whole-Life Discipleship Training<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>EFM partners with Discipling for Development Training Academy for this course. The Discipling for Development Online Training Program (D4D OTP) is a\u00a010-month\u00a0learning community<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>designed to give you a better understanding of\u00a0whole-life discipleship\u00a0alongside\u00a0vulnerable populations in your local context.<\/p>\n<p>This program offers an in-depth exploration of the principles and practices of holistic disciple-making, asset-based community development, and God&#8217;s heart for communities pushed to the margins.
