The following story is shared by our Friends in Nepal and shows how one relationship was changed from your support.
Nathuni, a Dalit from the Musahar community of Gujara, is now an emerging small business entrepreneur. He came to Christ five years ago during an evangelistic campaign in Laxmipur. When he accepted Christ, his parents threw him out of his house and took away all his rightful family inheritance. He took his wife and small son with him and went to a church in Bhawanipur to get shelter. He grew up in Christ with the help of a local pastor who is also the chairman of the Rautahat CHE Committee. Now, Nathuni is an active member of the Eden CHE committee. He is also working among Musahar children by teaching them, encouraging them to go to school, and encouraging them to come to children’s CHE classes. He also plans to establish a small pig farm in his village. He has completed a veterinary course and is now practicing in his community. This help will get him started on a small-scale pig farm. |
