David Thomas April 2022 Prayer Update

Dear Friends,

Thank you for praying for me and for my trips during the busy month of March! Here are some highlights in pictures from my trip to Thailand. Enjoy!

Enjoying the pig celebration feast! Left in blue: Eme and her husband MoPa, Chalee, David Kibbe, Ma’e (Chalee’s wife)

Celebrating Debby achieving tenure at her university! I sent this picture in a text with reception from the top of this hill.

Lunch in the parsonage after the service.

Ladies from JaSaPa fixing lunch.

Enjoying watermelon after an amazing lunch! Left in red: Ben Kibbe, Dan Cammack, Solomon, Scott Purser, Yosapa

Chickens below the parsonage enjoying any leftovers that fell through or were swept through the bamboo floor after lunch.

Kids enjoying their lunch outside after the guests have finished.

Ben Kibbe leading his last “The Way Foundation” board meeting as Executive Director. Great job, Ben, leading well, and empowering these to now lead well!

Chalee asking how their team in Ja Taw can share their community-wide transformation vision with others in their village. Bottles represent their team, and village people.

The newly chosen Way Foundation leaders. From the left, Chalee- Executive Director, Joshua- board member (and school director), Solomon- board chair, Thai pastor -board member, and Majise- Executive Assistant

My Discipling for Development fellow coach Scott Purser facilitating a lesson on the transfer of power, skills, responsibility from Solomon holding the string on the left to Yosapa taking up responsibility on the right.

Majise asking a clarifying question. Jason Byers doing an amazing job translating between English and Thai.
