EFM’s relationship with The Way Foundation in Thailand is valuable in continuing the Great Commission work in Southeast Asia. The Way Foundation’s vision is to help establish a growing ministry that will continue to share the gospel, make disciples, plant churches, and be connected to churches around the world, including those in America, for many generations to come. We are excited to share this report from Yaw Sa Pa who is the Director of the Holistic Community Development Project.| Holistic Community Development Project |
This is Mr. Lebo ‘s family, and they live in the Ca Saw Pa village where we are currently training. Mr. Lebo and his wife have lived in this community for more than ten years. However, there is still an old mentality of life that persists in the village. For example, when Mr. Lebo and his wife had a tendency to be nomadic due to their way of thinking and lack of understanding of how to use local or natural resources.
When Mr. Lebo and his wife had the opportunity to join the D4D training, they began to see the world in a new way. They began to think in ways pertaining to sustainability and started to use all of the natural resources that were always there but that they never made use of. Now, this family uses the land to grow crops. They now make a living off of the land and no longer have a nomadic mindset. Both of them began to change their attitudes to live sustainably and exemplify lives that honor God.
Thank you all for your continued support and prayers for this project to expand the kingdom of God. Please pray for our team to have God’s wisdom to lead and make disciples in this community.
Thanks for your prayers and your support.
From,
Charlee Kunakorn
Executive Director, The Way Foundation
