EFM’s ministry began in Bangladesh in July 2005 when a family from that country was approved as missionaries. The vast majority of people in Bangladesh are Muslim or Hindu. Church planting has been taking place among both groups and the persecution is often severe. The ministry continues to grow and spread throughout the country.
