April 2012

We continue to give thanks for your prayers and support for the work God has giv-en us. Together we strive to see Christ revealed in the Muslim world. Our confidence is not in anything we have done or will do, but in the Lord Jesus. He has sent us his Holy Spirit and promised to complete his work as spoken in Hebrew 13:21, “Make you full of every good work and ready to do all his desires, working in us whatever is pleasing in his eyes through Jesus Christ; and may the glory be given to him forever and ever. So be it.” We are preparing for our biggest annual outreach for the Iranian New Year, No Ruz, between March 21 and March 31. United States We are excited to share with you an opportunity to be involved in reaching Muslims for Christ and helping disciple Iranian Christian believers. As you may know technology has given us some wonderful tools for sharing Christ and discipling believers. In January Pastor Koz (Las Vegas), Pastor Rahman (Houston) and Roy (Los Angeles) launched three SKYPE Churches. These Skype churches bring Iranian Christians together from around the world so that they can worship, pray, participate in Biblical teachings, and receive counsel and support in Farsi. All mem-bers are also encouraged to attend local fellowships. Each Skype Church has 25 spaces available which can be brought together through one of three times weekly. Currently we are limited to 25 incoming video feeds and unlimited audio feeds per church. We pre-fer video as it gives a face to face connection. The average service starts with a welcome and an adjustment for technical difficulties. The service then moves to prayer and an open prayer time which gives people in each group an opportunity to pray. (Usually the leader in a large group prays for everyone.) Worship is broadcast to everyone; those with video see on their screen a series of video worship songs with words in Farsi; those with audio only receive a text of the music. After worship we have a preaching/teaching session followed by open worship to allow members to comment and or testify about what God is doing in their lives. A Request For All Who Read This Newsletter 1. If you know of any Iranian Chris-tians’ please share with them about these Skype churches and encour-age them to send their email ad-dresses to one of the pastors be-low, indicating the time they would like to attend. 2. We are not seeking to replace their local church but rather to sup-plement it with solid biblical teach-ing in Farsi. 3. Encourage your church to an-nounce the following Skype church-es and times in their bulletins, or from the pulpit, so that any Iranian Christians will be made aware of this excellent opportunity. 4. Pray for us as we seek to provide a platform on Skype to meet and discuss Christ with Iranians who are seeking to know Him. 5. Although individuals may join, we encourage people to gather in groups of five to seven. On Thursday morning at 11:00 a.m. (PST) groups from Austria, Germa-ny, and England come together for worship, prayer, and teaching with Pastor Koz. Anyone can join by sending their email to Pastor Koz: This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it On Sunday mornings at 8:00 a.m. (CST) Pastor Rahman has groups attending from as far away as Iran. There are about eight groups be-tween five to eight people in attend-ance. Anyone may join this group by sending their email address to Pastor Rahman: This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it On Sunday night at 6:30 p.m. Any-one may join this group, but be-cause it is in the evening, only peo-ple from the midwest to the west coast should join this group. Any-one may join by sending their email to Pastor Koz: This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it The Lord richly bless each of you. In Christ’s Service Together, Roy, Jinky, Christopher, and Daniel Twaddell
