|David & Tricia Howell|
Hello, we are the Howell Clan serving in Ireland. David and Tricia are both graduates of Barclay College. Before coming to Ireland, we have been in ministry for 18 years together, serving in churches in KS., VA., IA., and OR. We have two amazing children who are such a blessing to us and those around. We currently live in Wicklow Town and are involved in Church planting and evangelism.
Ministry “The ache and melancholy is uniquely Irish.” This quote by U2 singer Bono in 1999 seems to capture the Irish heart. The history of this beautiful country is filled with devastation and despair, war and famine, oppression and occupation. It is a story filled with thousands of years of heartache. People grow up with the deep understanding of sorrow and grief with little hope. Even their once strong faith has been lost over time. According to Operation World, Ireland has an Evangelical population of around 1.6%, which is the lowest percentage of any country in the English-speaking world.
Life Verse: I Thessalonians 2:8 “We loved you so much that we were delighted to share with you not only the gospel of God but our lives as well, because you had become so dear to us.”
